We have family dinnners most nights. Occasionally when my hubby works late we'll all just eat when we get hungry instead of eating together. Most of the time we do all sit down at the kitchen table together to eat. Sometimes when Dad isn't home we have a "picnic" on a blanket in the living room floor and watch a movie together. On soccer nights we have a picnic on the field before the practice/game.

My kids sit at the table or they dont eat, most nights my husband if he's home from work and I sit with the kids. We get into so much trouble from our 7 yr old if we dont. I think its a nice thing to do as a family, its a good time to talk to your children or for them to talk to you.

We all sit down @ 6 and eat a home-cooked dinner every night. Except pizza night Fridays. Conversation takes place and we can regroup as a family.

My son & I eat together every night. Our bad habit is in front of the TV but we're eating together around the coffee table. Unless he's spending the night at a friend's or his Grammy's, then obviously not then.

YES I LET THEM WATCH......NO PROBLEM.....KIDS GET BORED MIGHT AS WELL BE ENTERTAINED....IF THE KID DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO WATCH T.V. THEY WILL HAVE A HARD TIME WHEN THEY MOVE OUT OF THE HOUSE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO SIT DOWN AND WATCH T.V.

AS THEY GET OLDER WHAT OTHER FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT BUT T.V.! I FIGURED I CAN'T ALWAYS BE WITH MY CHILDREN SO THEY HAVE TO LEARN TO BE INDEPENDENT WITHOUT ME. WE HAVE OUR HUGGING AND QUIET TIME.MY BOYS ARE VERY GOOD ANYWAY. SO NO NEED TO REALLY BATTLE WITH HOW MUCH T.V THEY WATCH. SO LONG AS THEY ARE HAPPY THAT IS THE MAIN THING.

I AM FLEXIBLE....THEY CAN EAT ANYTIME AND WE HAVE GET TOGETHER..I FIGURED AS THEY GET OLDER AND MORE MATURE THEY WILL EVENTUALLY SIT DOWN AND BE CIVIL..BUT NOW JUST RELAX....

I always sit down to eat with my family ever since I was a kid. It`s the same with my inlaws - every Sunday we eat at their house.
I think it`s important to eat together - it gives the parents time to speak with their kids about their day and stuff.

I set down with my family every night to eat dinner... break fast and lunch hardly ever but always dinner. sometimes the television stays on but for the most its off. its something my husband and i started even before we started having children. the children are used to it and even prefer it. the hardest part was getting my husband adjusted..

most nights we all sit down together (there are only 3 of us), but some nights we feed the little guy and put him to bed before we eat. we almost always sit down together even if it's just the 2 of us.
