This week, my cat is sleeping curled up in front of one of the French doors not far from where I usually work at the computer. That has been his favorite sleeping spot for several weeks now. When I first moved to this house about a year ago, he slept in a little curve in the hallway facing the back door (the one I always use). Then, he slept in the hall outside of my bedroom door facing it (guard cat lol) for two or three weeks. From the time that he was a kitten, he slept on top of the clothes hamper until he got so big that the top fell in with him. For a while he slept on my bed curled up against my ankles.

I have six and they sleep in any manner of places at any given time. As it happens it is the siesta hour right now. My boyfriends two dogs are asleep by the couch.
#1 Princess the calico is passed out in the recliner
#2 Pozer the turtle siamese is snoozing on the back of the couch
#3 Blossom the 3 legged tabby is napping on my computer chair...I'm being careful not to lean too far back...or else I may cramp her style....lol...
#4 Mushy ...another siamese...is fast asleep outside...or shall I say inside...the boat...
#'s 5 and 6 are kittens Licorice and Penquin...both are in my son's room sleeping on his top bunk...they tend to prefer high places.

My cat sleeps near me, wherever I may be. If I'm on the main floor, it's one of the designer chairs by the window, with the white cushion that has to be vacuumed every day because she sheds. If I'm upstairs, she sleeps on the 6 y/o's bed, because the comforter is super soft, and it's right by the window. If I'm in my basement apartment, she sleeps on the bed (when I'm at the computer) or on the blanket that drapes over the sofa (if I'm watching tv or eating). She goes where I go, follows me and if she doesn't follow me right then, she cries until she finds me, then curls back up near me.
Oh, and at night, she sleeps on my bed with me, curled up against my knees.

My Cat loves to sleep in the chair I'm sitting in now. It's the office chair. She will wait until I'm done on the pc and as soon I get up, She hops in.

We have four who usually frequent any number of places all the time. I don't think they have a favorite weekly spot. Although I have a soft top Jeep Wrangler, and our indoor/outdoor cat likes the soft top as her hammock.

My eldest cat always sleeps in front of my bedroom regardless of whether I'm in there or not, the second one always sleeps on the stairs waiting for us and the other one picks the smallest box in the house and squeezes into it.

The big fat ones like to lie down on their backs...belly up, in the middle of the living room floor. They look so peaceful sprawled out like a carpet...it is irresistable to go up and give their bellies a rub with the bottom of my bare foot. They just look at me as if to say, "Do you mind? I need my beauty rest, y'know!"

LOL..that's funny because she DOES pick a different space every week. This week it's on the carpet in front of the front door. Last week it was on the back of one of our large chairs. The week before it was on one of our kitchen chairs.
