when i was little i was terrified of clowns and barbies for about 3 years because my older sister told me a so called "bedtime" story about this little girl who had a barbie clown doll and stopped playing with it when she got a new toy and the barbie got jealous and chopped the little girl up with an axe and stuck her in the freezer for her parents to find the next day....after that i just stared at my toys waiting for one to come alive....but now i'm 15 and think i was stupid for believing it in the first place i still hate clowns though there just weird and scary

Clowns are a little creepy. When I was little I'd stay at my cousins house and the clown picture in the bedroom really creeped me out. Eyes kept following me. What worries me is how many child molesters can dress as clowns to get close to kids. I read in our local paper, in the police response part, that some guy called the cops to get all the clowns out of his apartment. Poor guy.

Yes. Especially the hobo clowns at the circus. And Pennywise. Because they're just creepy. Creepy.

I myself don't fear clowns, but my g/f and sister do. They both say it's their make-up. It's like they're hiding something totally EVIL and will jump you as soon as you turn your back on them. I simply don't LIKE the weenies.

I'm not a big fan of clowns, although I wouldn't say its a phobia...I put it down to watching the film IT when I was a lot younger.

yes, partly because of Stephen King's "IT" but also because i am an abuse survivor and clowns somehow trigger memories of my abuse. Im not sure why, maybe there were clowns in the room....*shrugs*
