How can I stop my ex wife from spoiling our son?

I have an ex who does similar, Im sure he does it because he doesnt spend enough time with them and maybe it helps with his guilt. I guess you could always try and talk to her and ask her to cut the treats/gifts back a bit. Kids need to learn they cant have everything they want it will help when they are older and need to provide for themsleves. good luck, not sure I helped much though.

You can't. All you can do is talk with her, she probably has some guilt issues. Just try to model for your son that always getting what he wants when he wants it isn't neccessarily the best thing. But also know, that spoiling isn't all that bad, and he will most likely be fine, especially if he knows you and your ex-wife both love him.

well your ex wife probably wants to fill the void in her life. i'm assuming your son lives with you so she misses him and wants him to be happy with her. you can talk to her about it and ask her to stop being him so many things. or you could limit how much he goes over but that's not a great idea. best suggestion is to talk to her about it.

have you tire talking to her to let her she step the boundary with your son.that your trying to rise him where he learn to earn things instead to getting them for doing nothing.tell to go pamper herself instead.that your boy doesn't need all those material things but more understanding and love from his mother side.that your not offending but you feel offending because she's walking in stepping over the inputs your trying to set in your son to become a better person so when goes in to the real world he learn the value of work the value of things.
