So, I read all these books about relationships and they all say the same thing...'Don't return guys phone calls or messages'. Do you think this is a good idea? If a girl doesn't return your call are you more intrigued or turned off?

Let's break it down. Being "hard to get" and "mysterious" can cause some men to be more attracted to you. But it can also cause some to become slavishly depedent on you.
Bottom line is that it is bad to treat a boyfriend in way that you yourself would not like to be treated, or that you would treat anyone you care about. If he finds that a turn off, you need to find a different type of guy!

No way. If you say you will call at a certain time, call. That is a major turn off. If I call and dont get a response, that means to me that she is not interested. If you cant take the time to return a phone call, then why would I think you will take the time for a date?

If you plan on being single your whole life, then don't return any calls or messages! If a girl doesn't return a call, I move on! There are a lot of woman that will! Yes, its a turn off and its very rude!

I think there is a certain amount of "ignoring factor" that will make you more interesting, but if you never return a phone call or message the logic says you are not interested and even if you are interested, the guy can miss-understand your signs. IMHO you should make him see that you care. A call from time to time is good, that will make him see your interest but don't call him too often or he will think you are desperate or you might desperate him. Call him if you really want to and if you have something to talk. Talking is good

Well calling back immediately is a turn off but after a while wondering may lead to irritation so, playing hard to get is not a very good idea altogether.

U should return them, maybe not straight away so u dont look like ur waiting mobile in hand for him to call or that ur desperate but u should or he'll just think ur rude. Sometimes it makes u want them more, other times it just makes u go off them if they keep not replying. ignore the first answer, u look quite hot!

Don't let these columnists rule your love life. Do what comes natural. Sometimes guys liked to be called and sometimes they don't you be the judge. I hate to mention this but I think your boobs look pretty cool in the picture. Keep up the good work, a grateful nation salutes you.

If a girl doesn't return my call I think she is rude and a stuck up princess. How much of I bother I must be for her to call. She just not worthy of my time or energy. Her loss.

Returning calls or messages is a common courtesy that good mannered people usually do.
