Well, you could be having gastritis from the Ibuprofen, which is very common. We doctors usually recommend to take Prilosec OTC, 20 mg orally to protect your stomach. There are similar medications that help as well, as Zantac, Mylanta (less effective than Prilosec however). The other symptoms, don't think have anything to do ("pain and fever in the back of the neck"), it doesn't sound like an allergic reaction, but probably I would advise to avoid Ibuprofen and take something else like Aleeve and see if you get the same symptoms. If you get the symptoms, use Tylenol.
An allergic reaction is characterized by a rash in your skin, swelling of the eyelids, lips, trouble breathing and/or swallowing, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. All these symptoms need not to occur at once or even at all. Most commonly you only get the rash and a little bit of swelling if you get an allergic reaction.

No, it's very very FAR from normal. Uhh, I couldn't exactly tell you why it does that, but I can tell you... stay away from Advil, or any type of ibuprofen. Instead take tylenol, or aleve. Neither of those contain ibuprofen, but are very effective in relieving minor aches and pains.

From what I heard, Ibuprofen makes your stomach bleed after a while. That could be happening in your situation.

No, not normal. I aggree with what someone else said. Quit taking it and call your dr. Chances are it may be an allergic reaction. Your dr. needs to know this.
