This girl told me this joke and she found it hilarious, but I don't get it! Here it goes: "there are two penguins hanging out on an iceburg, one penguin says to the other penguin "I see you're wearing a tuxedo" and the other penguin replies "what makes you think I wouldn't?" " Do you get it?

I get it but it's not funny, this girl you're talking about must be on drugs, when they're on drugs everything seems to be hilarious ..

I've never heard that before. And I don't get it. The really famous joke that starts the same is this:
There are two penguins hanging out on an iceburg, one penguin says to the other penguin, "I see you're wearing a tuxedo". And the second penguin said, "Maybe I am..."
I LOVE that joke. Its from Twin Peaks, the 90s tv show, but I heard it from someone - its so funny.

It is claimed by some that the natural appearance of a penguin is similar to the look of a tuxedo. Therefore, the penguin can "wear a tuxedo" just by being himself. I don't think that the above joke is particularly funny, though.

U know what a tuxedo is, rite? It is shown similar to the penguin's skin. Like they are black and white. So the second reply means that all penguins have tuxedos. It's their skin!
