A nice gift basket. Maybe a coffee or a tea theme, with the pot and a couple of cups that will remind her of your appreciation everyday.. With a HANDWRITTEN thank you card. Referrals are always good too.

I did this once also and I was a manager in a large company at one time
Make sure it's not against their ethics to accept gifts from clients-get the name of his/her Superior and run it past them, see if there is a dollar limit. If you get the go ahead, keep it tasteful and within the company's limitations.
Research the area she lives in. Is there a really nice restaurant nearby? Can you buy a gift certificate and send it to her, maybe a dinner for 2? Movie certificates, opera/theatre/ballet?
Did she happen to mention anything along the lines of 'Oh, I just adore ____!" If so, try to find something along those lines-doesn't have to be big.
The classic way to say thank you though, is a handwritten card and/or a nice flower arrangement delivered during her business hours. It doesn't have to be over the hill (Exclude roses in this instance.) because even a small gesture will make her feel proud of the hard work she put in to please you.
Besides, the material part of her satisfaction came in the way of a commission. Now, the emotional part of her success can be boosted by a nice gesture.

Being a former Realtor myself, in most states it is illegal to give an agent cash. Realtors are members of the National Association or Realtors. Some of the laws and guildelines have changed since I left the industry three years ago so if I were you I would either call the agents broker or the local Realtor Association and find out what the rules and guildelines are for gifts. Although your Realtor went above and beyond the call of duty, she was only doing her job. As Realtors that is what we are suppose to do. The real estate business is one that heavily depends on customer referrals. Ultimately, the best thing you can do for your agent to thank her is to remember to refer all of your friends and family members who are looking to purchase a home. If she provides them with the same quality service as she provided you, that may result in 100's of thousands of dollars in commissions for her. Peace and God bless.

She already received a wonderful thank-you gift from you. It's called a "commission." Even if she is a kind person who assisted you a great deal, the bottom line is that was her job, and she did it out of financial self-interest. The real estate brokerage market is very competitive, and many brokers do add a lot of personal touches in order to keep the clients they have and obtain referrals from happy clients after closings. When I have purchased and sold my own homes, the brokers gave gifts to ME when the deals closed.
Under the circumstances, any kind of expensive gift would be highly inappropriate. A thank-you note or card would be enough, a modestly priced desk plant or floral bouquet would be extraordinary. If you really thought her service was superlative, the thanks she really wants and will appreciate from you is referrals.

The best way to thank a Realtor is referrals. If you liked them, make sure other folks now.
There are a lot of crummy real estate professionals out there, if you've found a good one spread the word.
You can also write a letter to their state's Real Estate Commission, so that if there is ever a complaint against them there is your complimentary letter to help offset it.

1. Do a nice fruit and gourmet basket.
Oranges, apples, grapefruit, grapes, pineapple (maybe seasonal fruit)
Gourmet could be crackers, cheese, mustard or cookies, chocolate, candy.
2. Its called Incredible Edible Delights. Makes flower arrangements but its made with fruit. Pretty cool and healthy.
3. Flowers. Do something summery and bright.
4. Plant. Once again something bright that is easy to maintain.
5. Breakfast basket of assorted pastries, donuts, bagels, cream cheese etc.
Good luck!

There are several places that will send gift baskets. If you know anything about a hobby, or interest she has, put something related to that in it. If you don't, then maybe some office related, or vehicle related items could be included, maybe even a gift card could be included. That's nice you want to do something extra special for her!

Send her a thank you card! Express items that you were totally thankful for that she did that was way above her job. And if you wanted to give her something send her a gift certificate or gift card for $ to a restaurant or department store.
