Run, run, run. Your goal: 3 miles in 18 min,
pullups 20

learn general orders and the rank structure, both enlisted and officer.

Check the about.com site for military. they have a great guide for preparing for boot camp.

btw, whats your job or your field you are going into?


EDIT: hey, good luck to you, are you going to Parris Island or SD? If you go to the east coast i might see you when you go to combat training. Im stationed in NC.

You're gonna run a lot and you're gonna do a lot of push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Practice standing at Attention and Parade Rest. Parade Rest will hurt at first; it's better to get that out of the way (I'm talking standing at the position for an hour and a half).

do a lot of running, push-ups, chin-ups, crunches, and any other work out routine you can think to get your body ready for boot camp abd another thing you can do is memorize your general orders, mission of the Marine Corps, rank structure, motto, birthday, chain of command, and everything else is the book you got at MEPS it will help. if you need so of these E-mail me at JoebeJordan@yahoo.com and I see what I can do for you.

Why would you join any military outfit under control of the idiot currently sitting in The White House. Bush doesn't care about the troops, they ain't rich.

Do Chin-up's. They do chin-ups like there is no tomorrow. Also run a lot to build up endurance.

RUN. run until you can't breath, then do 100 pushups. keep doing it until you regain conciousness.
