Nope. If you don't appreciate the flavour of lighter fluid on your BBQ, you can light the briquettes by making a little wood fire, then dropping the briquettes on it and letting them light from that. There are also briquette lighters you can buy -- they're like a mini blow torch --that will ignite the briquettes quickly.
