The police won't do anything because they say they are not threatening her. We have some kids pranking my daughters cell phone. They are blocking their calls but calling one right after another. Little do they know when they block their # it still shows up on my Cingular Bill. Waiting to find out right now as soon as it updates. Just ticks me off they say "well just change your number"..thats BS. Why should I be inconvenienced by some little brats that have nothing better to do?

Thank goodness it's free nights and weekends. Or I would be making them pay for it. She needs to have her phone on for us to get ahold of her but they are going to run her battery down.

Well I guess we will see when the bill updates if she is calling them or not. She is a bit more mature then that anyways.

I'd suggest finding the kiddos and chatting with the parents, with your bill in hand. Might even request that they pay the cost of all the phone calls, if you are charged with them. This may help set the parents in action to stop the kids.

Your local cops suck--totally suck--if that is happening. Your next step is to report this to their city council or county government in open session. If you don't get results there, get a lawyer on contingency to sue in your name.
Report this conduct to your state's law enforcement's professional assoicates and the appropriate state agencies. The state and the federal government ALSO have an interest in stopping this criiminal activity.
Contact your daughter's cell phone company and file a formal complaint. They ARE BOUND under federal law at a minimum to protect your right to not be harrassed.
And let it be known to the harrasser's parents that you are going to bring both criminal and civil charges against them personally for both actual and punitive damages--and let that lawyer get loose on them again on a contingency basis. He will clearn their plows and laugh all the way to the bank -- and make it worthwhile for you as well.
Oh, and be sure to get court-orders against these kids by name as part of a keep-you-distance project. That way, if it comes to physical revenge your foes are looking at serious prison time.

The problem is that what they are doing is annoying but not, strickly speaking, illegal. There should be facility on her phone whereby you can auto-reject their calls. Then when they call they will get a phone company recording. I am afraid that is the best I can recommend.

Dude dont make a simple problem so complicated, just change your daughters number, Who cares. Your making a big deal out of something you can change. Those kids are probably not gonna stop until you change the freaken number.

kids do not need cellphones to entertain them, what do you expect to happen two sides to every story who is she caling and abusing take that phone away and give her a phone to call you for emergencies only i think its called a prean phone anywaay you wont have any more problems with that stuff.
