1- I was Born & Race here
2- Even if i wasn't born here i would still be a American
because i am from Puerto Rico and PR
is a commonwealth to usa,so everyone born in PR
is a USA citizen by birth.
Another thing it does not matter were we came from, but if you want to know

Puerto Rico is a U.S. Commonwealth and it has been part of the U.S. since 1898, dating back from the Spanish-American War. The U.S. invaded Puerto Rico during that war, won by beating the Spanish, and the island was ceded to the U.S., under the Treaty of Paris (1898). In 1917, the U.S. gave all Puerto Ricans U.S. citizenship, 19 years after the U.S. possessed the island. In 1947, the U.S. granted the right for the island to democratically elect their own appointed governor. In 1952, the island adopted and was granted "Associated Commonwealth" status to the U.S. Yet, still today that the island's residence doesn't have the right to Congressional representation and voting rights in presidential elections. Although, many Puerto Ricans were drafted into the Vietnam War and played a significant role in it, as they had in the American Revolution, which not many Americans know. Also, the island is a military strategic point in the Caribbean, whereby many U.S. military bases and installations is or were located. Soon enough, Puerto Rico will become the 51st state of the U.S. and Spanish will continue to be the primary language on the island as it always had been. Lastly, the U.S. and Puerto Rico are stuck with each other in an close intertwined relationship and will probably always remain as that!
FYI - I am proud to be an Puerto Rican/American, also I am against illegal immigration for legal, economic, and security reasons.

You'll hate me by the time you finish reading my answer.
Hate has been around for ever and we'll never be free of it on this planet, you live in a delusional world if you believe otherwise. Hate is an element of the human condition. You shouldn't point out others hate when you carry so much of it yourself, this will continue the hate and breed more, little one. You called white people criminals, does this not show your hate? As for what you said about the Natives being the first owners of America. You are so wrong. Natives did not ever believe they owned this land, nobody owned it. But that's beside my point/ America is not a piece of land, America is a system of beliefs and principals with a formed government representing the people. A union. You say forget about history yet you wallow in it and use it to glorify your cause. "Let the government handle it" is about the most un-American statement I've ever heard. There would be No "We the people" if we did that. And YES!...."We the People" can fix this problem. Who cares if the illegals want to come here.....I DO and so does the true blue American people. You are not an American, are you? Not if you agree that criminal behavior is acceptable on our soil. FYI sweetie, it's already out of hand! Now do you hate me? Or do you love me?

It's not a matter of hatred-and we certainly are NOT all Americans. If you haven't been granted citizenship or born here or have parents born here, YOU ARE NOT AN AMERICAN.
Consider: I live in Florida. Fiance makes nice hourly sum (upwards of $15 an hour). Been at the company 6 years, missed 3 days-for the kids to be born and b/c he was in the hospital for dehydration. He earned the pay.
We move to Texas. He applies for same type of job with a specific company (not naming) and indicates *lowest* starting salary at $8.00 hr. (company busted for illegal employment of immigrant workers)
Company offers to hire him for the job, at $5.25 an hour. He requests time to consider-owner calls him and they discuss on speaker phone. Again, he questions the pay rate. Here's owner EXACT reply: "Man, I got people here that will do this job for $5.25 an hour. To THEM, that's a ton of money. When you don't have a job, anything is better than nothing, right? They might be from Mexico or whatever but they're not complaining. Hell, even when they get caught without the right papers, they still don't complain. They come back in a month and do it again. Why would I pay you even $6.00 per hour when they'll work OT for straight pay and for a lot less than you're wanting? I can afford to hire 4 of them for what you're wanting with all the overtime we work and benefits. Sorry man, I can't help you."
WTF?? Great- they got a job. If they are legal, they deserve it but under no circumstance should ANYONE be allowed to just 'come on over' and do WTF they want. American's get tired of pulling long hours at hard jobs for years, climb up the payscale ladder, only to be chucked off the SOB b/c an immigrant worker will do it for no benefits, no OT pay (which is illegal), not have to pay taxes, no questions asked, and for a lot less.
And, I'm not racist-I don't care what nationality you are, the above applies.

All I can say is you need a big history lesson. They are illegal and breaking the law, and they are not Americans and never will be unless the take the oath of citizenship, Their are Mexicans that have been here for 20 years and still can't speak English, they don't care about this country and never will they are to lazy to learn, and to lazy to fix their own country. They are lazy lazy lazy, in mind and body. So just get over it this is the United States now if you don't like it get the hell out. and take your Mexicans with you. or should I say those illegal Mexicans citizens with you.

OK but first lets get the facts straight. Native Americans were the first on the continent. Mexicans on the other hand arrived as a result of the conquest of South and Central America.
http://www.historyisaweapon.org/zinnapeopleshistory.html
Europeans nearly exterminated the Native Americans and imported slave labor (blacks) from Africa.
http://academic.udayton.edu/race/02rights/native14.htm
The United Sate is being invaded by illegal insurgents from Mexico.
And all you can say is lets get along.......I feel like breaking out into a rendition of Kumbaya in Spanish no less.

Question? You forgot to ask a question.
There isn't a country on Earth that hasn't had similar struggles through history. Even England was occupied by the Romans. Mexico is a mix of Spanish and Native....as well as others.
So, not that history doesn't matter, but it is irrelevant to the current situation. People are coming here illegally and we are having to pay for it. We pay their medical bills, we pay to educate their children and we pay to house their criminals in our jails.
Get current.

We should all hate ourselves. After all, you are your own worst enemy. Have you ever stared at your own image in the mirror for an extended period of time? It will make you want to rip the flesh off your own bones with a scalding hot knife. You will hate yourself so much you will scream out loud.
I'm not joking; the answer to eliminating hate is focusing it where it belongs; on ourselves. If you don't hate yourself, you are arrogant.
And by the way, in response to baddatesite, there was an episode of Saturday Night Live where they did a take-off on "The Real World" on MTV. Shannon Doherty (from Beverly Hills 90210) was playing a character on the sketch who hated Eskimos. Rob Schneider was playing an Eskimo who hated lesbians.
That's the closest I could come.....

It is true we cannot control the criminal actions of our Ancestors. I do however find it amusing that you are so good at pointing out there breaking of laws YET you seem to be more than willing to overlook those breaking the law today. You criticize our ancestor and use there actions as justification to allow it today. Well Either it's OK to break the LAW all the time or its NOT OK. You simply can't Grant exceptions to certain law breakers.

Your heart and words convey humanity and love. Make sure you keep that vibe going. What you do and say with your free will and power is very important and special. IF this is your message then let it be heard all over. I agree. Whites stole this land and made beggars of the proud and strong stewards of this great piece of land. Claimed it as the "freedom land". Laced blankets with small pox, poured fire water down their weakened throats, raped the women and made babies they didnt want to raise. Let them (whoever they may be) come and join the big old scary wallmart dream going on right here. theres plenty to go around. its only a perception of lack that makes us afraid.

Back then ,there were no laws. The land was up for grabs. Today,we do have laws, and anyone (illegals) who does not obey the laws, has to pay the price! Those sneaking into the country are NOT "americans', they are criminals who flaunt our laws, then expect a reward for it. I say HELL NO! If my ancestors can come here legally, then so the hell can illegals!
