We fill bottles and then freeze them until there is a layer of ice about a half inch thick all the way around the inside of the bottle. You punch a hole in the ice that under the mouth of the bottle, and put it into the frig after you pour a glass. The ice acts as a filter, and keeps the grit at the bottom of the container. When there's only ice left in the container you thaw it, and pour the water down the drain and start all over. We keep two or three gallons and a couple of water bottles in the freezer and frig at all times.

I would by one of those water things. You know the one that take the big bottle of water that you can refill. You can get them at walmart for a good price and then refill it there. I start off will be expensive but the long run it will pay off.

By a water dispenser... Those that you see in work places such as offices sometimes.. Mine cost my 80 dollars and each 10 gallon jug lasts a logn while. There is no wait, and it keeps the water nice and cold for ya. I buy big jugs and refill them at wal-mart weekly... The Water is delicious and comes inexpensively...
In the long run, you get clean water and it will be cheaper then buying bottles. The quality is wonderous. You should have a machine somewhere in the nearest walmart.. The one here is close to the Pop and other beverages

Sometimes it helps to boil your water first before you refrigerate it, as for bad sugars and caffeine. There are caffiene free Iced teas you could brew, that can be sweetend with a lil dab of honey
If your water is really that bad it may be a good idea to call the epa and have them test your water for chlorides, and other pollutants.

Well, the chlorine will evaporate in about 1 minute after it is taken from you tap. That may be the main issue with the flavor, so try putting the water in a pitcher in the fridge before you drink it.
If you still think the flavor is off, use some lemon or lime with it. That will hide any flavor that is there.
If you don't like doing that, I say give it a chance of a few weeks. Force yourself to drink it, after a few weeks, you won't even notice that it is off flavored and you will just think of it as normal.

brita makes a water filter pitcher that I got at walmart for ten bucks...the only thing is, it takes a few minutes for the water to get through the filter. or instead of bottles get jugs of water, you can get walmart jugs of water for under a dollar, and you can throw those out or recycle if they recycle those where you live

Buy a Brita water pitcher. It has a filter that gets replaced twice a year. It makes your water taste like water.

There are these simple water purifiers that you can buy at walmart and use them over and over again. My mom has one. All you haft to do is buy a filter once in awhile and I believe they run about $19.99 Cheaper than buying bottled water and you can keep using your bottles.

I use lemon or lime juice in my water. It helps to purify it a little and takes away some of that bad taste. It has to be fresh squeezed, though.
