The Religions aren't evil, some of the people that follow them are. Extremists lead people to believe that these religions are evil by bombing places or drowning their kids in a bath tub but these people are just lunatics that do not truely follow their religions.

Sir, minds like yours are the mire from which the seeds of evil grow! The fertilizers are a mixture of ignorance, lack of morality, no virtue, no integrity and huge heaping of disrespect!
The only growths of this cess pool of waste and sewage are WARS and Hatred!
You live in America, so by 75% of the worlds living standards you are rich! Have you adopted a child out of the clutches of hunger, disease, and poverty that it might know a life of meaningfulness?
Do you support a charity on a regular Base's? Are you involved with a youth group, that you might provide support to a child/children in need of guidance, attention, care or just quality supervision?
Christianity calls for man to love one another, sadly many claim the title but fail to live by it's charter. Islam is rooted in the Old Testament of the Bible, its' charter is the Ten Commandments, which are summed up in the word Love, again, many that claim that title, fail to abide by what they profess.
Too, Judaism law is the Old Testament, and the are bound by the Ten Commandments. The Bible tells over and over again how they turned away from God.
Your question gives rise to whether you know anything about what you criticize or seek to condemn.

I think Jews Muslims and Christians are capable of being evil, but no religion is evil, just those that follow them.

It's the extremists in all of these religions that cause the problems. They have taken all of the good out of it and replaced it with evil. In my opinion these "people" aren't religious because they have basterdized their faiths to further their own causes.
