It can.
Most automotive batteries are rated somewhere around 45AH. That means, supplying 1 amperes, it will last 45 hours. Or supplying 45 amperes, it will last one hour.
Those figures are from completely full to completely empty.
Your radio will probably consume about 1 amperes at comfortable listening level. If you have an high power amp and you are blasting, it will far more power. Usually, such things as lights and fans will come on when you turn on the car to 'accessory' level. If anything else is working, then those devices will consume additional power.
Because your car is not running, your battery is draining, and not getting any charge.
If you continue to listen to your radio, eventually, your battery will run dry.
However, listening to it without anything else on for a while won't hurt a thing. Just be sure, high amperage things such as head-lights, fans, etc are NOT on while you are doing it.

It should last for hours if you have a good battery and only the radio is running. It will not last as long if it is very cold out, but then you probably not be out either.

Your fuse panel ought to be contained in the motor vehicle, and also you need to pull a cord off the fuse block (fuse aspect, no longer battery aspect). If no longer, you could pull a warm cord off the cigarette lighter. some autos, like my spouse's Honda, have the lighter on switched voltage (turn the major off and the lighter is going lifeless).

well, to run the radio, you need power. the battery provides the power, so...I would think think it would run out eventually.
