It's more important to buy a high quality dog food like Natural Choice or Wellness brand, than it is to buy an organic food. There is no certifying agency to verify that dog food is organic, either - unlike people food.
Whatever food you feed your dog, read the ingredients. Make sure that it does not have chicken by-products in it. Chicken by-products are the left over parts of chicken, such as beaks, feet, intestines, etc. Not very nutritious for your dog! It's also a good idea to stay away from corn-based dog food. Corn can cause allergic reactions in some dogs, and it's added to dog food as a filler, not because it's good for the dog.
Hope this helps!

Sugar is organic -- all natural, but I wouldn't feed it to my dog.
Don't let the word "organic" fool you. A good quality dog food should keep your dog nutritionally balanced and healthy.
