I'm sorry, but your mother is not a good role model. She made a choice at your expense. That is unfortunate. Sometimes, it's up to the child to be the one who is the adult. The fact that you questioned this is a good reflection on you. Do what you think is the right thing to. Good luck and God bless ...

You need to tell SS the truth and tell your mom whatever will make your life easier. I personally would tell my mom the truth so she knows I'm not going to cover for her if she is doing something bad enough to have a lot of reports and for SS to investigate.

SS will distort the tiniest little thing into a big lie and take you away and put you into foster care where 1 out 2 are sexually molested.
Just tell the SS everything is groovy, you love your MOM and can;t wait to go home to help with dinner.

I would say nothing, play dumb or clam up.
That is not telling a lie. I am not sure why you are telling on your mom but I wish you the best of luck... If you have no reason to tell on her, then just play dumb or clam up with Social Services as well, but you must decide this bit, only you know what is going on and how it affects you, again I wish you the best of luck.
Another answer that has been known to work is 'I dont remember.' But it doesn't always work, and it may not be the truth, still, 'I dont remember' has its way of ruling, so long you say it with a straight, dumb face.
Should you tell on her or cover her tail?
Again that is up to you, probably a hard choice, I do not know...
But If you don't want to do either, then do nothing, say nothing, don't answer their questions or say 'i dunno' or whatever, but don't lie by telling the opposite of the truth.

I don't think that you have given enough info for that question to be answered safely. If your mother has done something to endanger your safety... you need to tell the truth. If your mother and you are going through typical teenage issues, you need to be discreet with SS . Perhaps your Mom and you can sign up for some of the government funded family counselling. If the issue has nothing to do with you, but is something that your mother has done ( illegal and causing harm to no one but herself ) It is not necessarily your place to tell on her.

lying to the SS as you say could get you in a lot of trouble. Talk to your mom about this and try to see if you can come up with another solution. If she is presistant, get help from another family member, teacher or couselor. Good luck.

You aren't making a lot of sense. You'd have to be more specific about who you are, and what you ae lieing about. If you lie, is it going to get you in trouble, or break a law? If not, perhaps you should side with your mom, since she seems to need this.

Some things are best not told. Tell the truth even if it may hurt but you don't have to tell everything you know to everyone. If it does not come up, say nothing but if it does, answer the question as briefly as possible but be honest.

There are admittedly a few things, that are better not told, in which case you have to lie, or even exaggerate. This is true about various scenarios. So do it, but only when it comes to what she did, and any other topics, taht are better untold.

If the SS is who I think it is, then I recommend not trying to lie to them. You will go to jail when, not if, you are caught.
