If the gauge is fluctuating while you are driving, it may be a steam buildup problem at the thermostat. It should run around 185 degrees, but if the needle is constantly moving back and forth when you stop the vehicle, there is a water pump bypass kit available from Ford that will help to keep the coolant flowing when you are idling, and help prevent steam builup at the thermostat housing.

purchase yet another battery. That clacking noise is your starter attempting as an instance, even if the battery cant provide the amps to commence it anymore. at the same time as installation the recent battery, make optimistic there is not any corrosion between the posts and the cables. that ought to correctly be your fee ticket. As long as it stays in between hot and cold it should be fine but just don't it get to hot. My mom's stays right next to hot but it never overheats because it doesn't go all the way to hot so just don't let it get to the hot red point or it will blow up.
