i pluged my ipod nano into my computer to put the music from my itunes on it, but it wont do it?

i have no idea what to do. i use to have a mini and when i pluged it in it just started, but with the nano, it dosnt do jack and im getting really frustrated. any idea whats going on?

You should have gotten a cd with software on it; you need to install that first. If you don't have it, go to www.apple.com/itunes and download the ipod updater software. Install it, reboot, then plug in ipod when it tells you to and you wil be able to see your ipod in itunes from then on.
