Anyone know how to create a fake mohawk look?

Im looking for a look kind of like this picture
You many times see the style with a pump infront and then the mohawk look in the back.

yes I do. For that look you will need plenty of bobby pins(match color of your hair)...possibly some small hair bands(small rubber ones-preferably ones that match the color of your hair)...wet hair. tie up hair into ponytails all the way down the middle of your head(just that middle hair though) Then begin bringing the other hair up to that area. Start with the top sections in front. Twist them up anyway you want...really tight though. Spritz with water if needed. Twist to the top and bobby pin it or put a band in. continue all the way down. Once you have the hair all 'tied' into the middle you can 'sculpt' the hair in any way you want. Use some sort of scultping gel or mouse. After...use a lot of hairspray(I recommend Freeze n shine by Paul Mitchell).

I like this hairstyle and it is becoming popular. I was at the WNBA chicago sky game in chicago tuesday and saw two with their hair like that. I stopped her and asked her how she did it. One of the girls was african-american and braided her hair on each side to the middle and left the ends loose and flat ironed them flipped so they would stay up,she also used hairspray. The other girl, had her hair braid in cochet and went for the curly look on the mohawak. I call the hairstyle,the mr tee. By the way both girls used non-permanent red dye to highlight the mohawk.
