probably the pointer finger and the middle finger, but maybe if the waiter was an *** u could just put up your middle finger and he may rush over to tell you your an *** and take your order, with spit in it of course.

I don't know where you live. I have traveled to so many places in the world, as I often say in my answers, but I have never been in any country where it is considered Ok to whistle at a waiter. That is so rude and demeaning. I mean, anywhere you want in Europe, I've been, and Canada and the US (where I live), and a few countries in the Middle East. I am flabbergasted. Please do add in the details where you live. I am very curious. So women get at it too, huh?

you shouldn't ever whistle, at least not here in America. just raise your hand or stand up and walk over to the waiter. unless you are getting bad service, refrain from whistling.

Pointer definately because if you use the middle finger then they would take that as an insult if you use the pinky then the waitress would think you are just weird. Now if you used the thumb then you are implying that the foods good........ usually....
