Do they clean it up? When I walk my dog, I always clean up after him.

If you can identify the person and the dog complain to the council but be anonymous in-case they tell the person it was you. I assume you are in England and it is an offence to let a dog foul a public area without cleaning it up.

I think there is a spray or something you can buy to stop dogs fouling certain areas, but I'm not sure.

I wish owners would clean up after their dogs, it's so irresponsible of them.

I think this is disgusting. I absolutely hate it when I am walking and come across this sort of thing. i don't understand how one person could even let their pet leave excretion in full visibility for the public. it's as if we are still in the medieval times and it's considered the norm to some people to leave their pet's faeces on the walking footpath. Absolutely disgusting and I'm glad they've introduced fines for those individuals who cannot quite manage to keep this sort of thing under control. If you find it often outside your front door then I suggest you report them to your local environmental agency and they will be directly fined and rest assured they won't be letting it happen ever again.

Ignorrance because the offence is not occuring outside of their own homes.

It is law in most countries to clear away any dog mess because most dog food has a high percentage of meat within.

The fact that this is allowed to lay in the street is a cause for concern as the risk of diseases being spread is increased.

yeah i know the feeling. why can't they just let their dog poo in their front door. having a dog is a lot of responsibility and cleaning the poos is one of them. if they cannot control their dogs to poo in others front door why not let them poo inside their own houses.

its the bane of inner city life, broken bottles plastic bags chewing gum and dog poop. none of these are acceptable. the trouble is the owners dont care so its down to the animal charities to start culling unwanted dogs. scenario: xmas young johnny wants a puppy mom goes to animal shelter and gets da cutest wee snoodems there. 6 months later they have a big friggin mutt no shots and no lead runs on the streets to its own devices. parents cant be bothered young johhny would rather play nintendo dog goes back to shelter for somebody else to pick up and the cycle continues. there is only one fix start a dog cull on all dogs on the streets less dogs means less dog poop.

This same thing happens to me all the time. Many people only think about themselves and don't care about the property of others. When my husband catches them he yells and screams at them to come and clean it up. That same person never brings their dog near our House again. It definitely is not acceptable. It is very rude and disgusting.

dog owners are irresponsible? But then maost are quite good about clearing up.
Perhaps its the difference between a dog lover and a responible person and someone that just has an animal.

Some people are just pigs. They probably figure it's o.k. as long as they don't have to clean it up. My husband and I looked after a friend's dog for awhile and anytime we took her for a walk, we took some plastic grocery bags to scoop up after her. More people should be doing this. It's gross to see that mess on the ground plus it can kill other people's lawns.

My solution: Set up a sprinkler at the edge of the property so that it hits where they potty. When you see them with thier dog going to the bathroom, turn on the sprinkler. They wont come back after a couple of times.

next time this happens get some pepper and spinkle it on the offending poo..... the next time a dog decides to have a crap outside your front door - it'll be howling it's head off.......

Had similar happen regularly just outside my front gate. I put pepper on the offending sh!t and it's never happened again.
