Besides all that you mentioned not wanting, you could also add other kind of beef or pork, like sousages. Also, serve a plate of cheese. Use a strong one.
Something else? Try guacamole. Mix the avocados wit a little salt, a little water and some chile -if you want it spicy- and the juice of half a lemmon.
And/or a mexican salsa with tomato, prepare as guacamole, but this time add garlic to the mix.

I like Bush's baked beans, rice and corn on the cob roasted in the oven with husks on.
I actually just had that last night!
You can substitute mashed potatoes if you're not a rice eater.
