Just to let you all know, it wasn't me who had her declawed, it was her previous owner. I've done all the right things as to put posters up, talked to neighbours, animal shelters, vets...called to her, and still nothing. She's never been outside before and I feel she has wandered off.

She might just be upset because she can't scratch anything (I know this sounds weird but cats love to scratch). Was there anything that could have chased her out or made her upset and want to leave? If so she might be afriad to come back for fear of it happening again!

Depends on the circumstances...does the cat usually roam, does it get fed by neighbors, are there predators such as coyotes and loose dogs in your area? Was the cat older? Many things could have happened to your cat...lots of outdoor dangers. If you had your cat declawed it should not have been allowed outside..they basically have NO protection. Hope he ends up coming home...it could be an odd situation where he is stuck somewhere (maybe locked in someones garage, etc.) and just can't get home right now.

Here is a very good example of why you should NEVER declaw a cat (besides the torture they endure having the bones at the end of their toes cut off!) That is a sadistic thing to do and a lot of vets will not do it anymore. But, your cat could be in the area, like stuck in someone's garage, or up a tree too high. Depends on what your neighborhood is like. Next cat, buy 'soft paws' or w/e they're called.

I once had a siamese cat who was gone for the bigger part of the summer and eventually came home. Of course he wasn't declawed. Your cat may still come home if he can keep away from other cats and dogs. Sometimes a cat who has always been inside will be so disoriented when first outside that it takes a while for them to figure out where home is and also I think they are afraid.

Hope it had a collar and ID tag on it. Declawing is never a good idea.
You need to put up flyers, put an ad in the paper. Offer a reward. Go around your neighborhood 3x a day and call for your kitty. Tell the neighborhood kids to watch for her. Also alert your local humane society.
Years ago when I still lived at home one of our cats got stuck in a neighbor's garage. Another time one of our cats jumped in a car at a neighbors and hid inside. When the lady got home (about 15 miles away), she discovered our cat. Luckily she read the tag and notified us. We got our Tom back!!! :) She said she liked him so much, she really wanted to keep him!

Is she ordinarily an indoor cat? If she has lived outside she knows where her home is and will probably return unless she has been killed or injured.
If she is a stranger to the outdoors she probably did not go far as she would be frightened of that strange environment and be hiding fairly close to home.
I do hope that she will return safely to you.
You need to alert all your neighbors that she is missing from your home and say if they find her to let you know immediately and not try to capture her. She would be frightened of strangers and liable to move farther away from your home.
Put food out for her during the day and take it in when it is dark. If you leave it out the night creatures will get it and you won't know if she is the one eating it.
Walk around the perimeter of your house and property in your bare feet. That will leave a your scent around and she will recognize it.

Ask around the neighborhood! If shes not used to being outside, she could be hiding some where, and wont move until she gets the courage. Id be concerned for your cats safety since the poor thing doesnt have claws...
Didnt you know declawing cats was cruel & inhumane????
I hope she comes home safely...

Its really sad that your cats missing and its best not to keep your hopes to high but my cat was missing for two weeks before we found him. We put up posters and evetually someone called to say they'd seen him at an underground parking lot. Male cats do like to roam so its a bit different but the way he came back all skin and bones i don't think he was away by choice, he just lost his way. I really hope you find your kitty.

First of all, I can not believe you had her declawed!! Claws are cats ONLY real defense. Now, some times cats will wonder off. But, her chances of coming home, may be slim. My Best of luck to you and your kitty.

My cat was declawed and had never even been outside when she ran out the front door one day. We found her 7 miles away eating an old lady's hotdog. Good luck.
