There are two types of Ignorance: Intentional and Unintentional. Whichever ignorance is committed they are still both sin. Sinning in ignorance is no excuse for sinning and everyone is penalized by God for all sin whether intentional or unintentional.

The Bible says study to show yourself approved. Everyone is born Ignorant but it is a sin to stay that way

yes the road to hell is paved with good intentions . its a sin to uneducate yourself . this way people cant get into heaven simply by saying " well I didn't know you were real "
