Ok I understand that it makes them fall asleep, however, these mothers are not dressed in lets say "nightgowns."
They have on thier hoochie mamma clothes!!! Its like they think they can continue to act the way they used to even though they have a child.

If you object to your neighborhood so much, get a job, grow up, and get yourself a better life.

You seem to have something against other people living in a manner in which you yourself apparently live.

Personally I would never go at 11.00pm with a baby in a pram for a walk.First of all it's dangerous and when I have had babies I tried to develop a routine from early on because when they have routine they know what will kind of happen next during the day and are more easily to be settled

Baby wakes mommy up, and will not stop crying. The only way to calm baby down is a stroller walk down Main Street. The baby may very well have colic. I hope your Main Street is safe.

Some babies (if not most) can get restless at night. Pushing them in a stroller is a way of relaxing them and getting them back to sleep.

Although I agree. It's not safe (or smart) to walk around at night dressed like a teenager when you have a baby to take care of.

That makes me so angry...I also see these so-called "mothers" brining their kids into Denny's or IHOP at 2 and 3 in the morning and sitting in the smoking section.

These people should have their kids taken away from them.

it's cooler at night! i live in a "village" (to small, population wise, to be called a town or city). there are a total of 9 paved streets in town. everyone knows everyone... i'd walk my baby at 11pm if the baby was fussy and liked stroller rides.. or if i wanted to walk and the baby was awake!

Some baby's need a ride to go to sleep.Mom is trying to get them to fall asleep so she can get some rest herself.I used to take mine for a car ride to get them to sleep-gas prices now I would be walking them too.

Might be to get them to fall back asleep. A baby in motion = a non-crying, sleepy baby.

well granted it's not safe, but some babies are difficult, they have what is called "colic" , and sometimes ridin in a stroller, or in the car, or runnin the vaccum cleaner is the only thing to get them to stop screamin their heads off...
