My fiance` and I became pen pals online for 3 years before we actually met. I live in Kentucky and he lives in Australia. I went there last year and lived there for 6 months so that we could spend time together. Sparks flew and we are in love and are getting married next year! So yes, I think you can find love on-line, but you have to be careful. Many people make stuff up about themselves and some are online predators.

I think you can meet someone you really have alot of interest in and can hit it off well with conversation. I am not sure you could call it love.. until you have met that person and gotten to know all sides of them. In writing.. you just have to take that persons word for what they are saying.. there is no body language for you to read.. there is no such thing and looking into their eyes. The internet is a great way to meet people. But I have found (thru experience) that words are cheap and sometimes the person that you finally end up meeting one day is not the person that was portrayed. Good Luck.

You can find both real love and "someone to love" on-line. But there's a huge difference between the two.

I think so. I did. I have been talking to this guy for a few months, and we are in love. As soon as he comes home from the war we are going to do some serious talking about the next level of our relationship. As long as you guys keep it strong after you meet each other then you will have the answer for yourself.

I think it is possible to find love on line, but unlikely. People looking for love on line are often looking for and ideal that no one can live up to, or playing games to find sex partners. It can be difficult to sort the sincere from the opportunists.

it makes no difference where you meet the person. it has to do with the person itself. online is just another avenue. just like a bar might be, or a referral from a friend or family member. or maybe you just bumped into them by accident. online dating used to be voodoo but now its just another way of meeting somebody. look at myspace! the entire country is on it!!
so if you feel weird you met somebody online, don't be, the entire world is meeting people online everyday. just make sure the person you are meeting with is a person you would want to be with, shouldnt have anything to do with where you met him or her.

I believe that true love is found any where and in the most unlikely places. If your true love is found on line then it is supposed to be
that way. If you have been looking for love in all the wrong places then maybe yours is on line...

I don't know b/c people can tell you what they "think" you want to hear. You have to ask yourself is this person REALLY being sincere & serious or are they just tyring to pull the wool over my eyes? The best thing is to take it slow and just wait and see what happens.

Only if you meet him in person and get to know him over a couple of years.
On-line communication and friendship is so -- well -- one-dimensional.
