When re-installing windows, it should automatically read your internet connection and establish a network on your computer. When you boot up for the first time, it should automatically have the internet set up and running fine.
If it didnt automatically set up, then call Verizon and have them send you a copy of the disc. Call their 1-800 tech support line and explain to them that you lost your disk, and they will either send you one via mail, or they will remotely take over your PC and install it on your system.

1 copy of XP OS per computer.
Go to your local PC store and purchase the CD. Make certain it's Genuine Microsoft.
