If you're on a diet, you really shouldn't be eating late at night and then go back to bed, that's how you gain weight. I never eat anything past 10pm and I usually eat 5 times a day: Breakfast, snack, Lunch, snack, Dinner

But if you do have to eat something, make it a fruit that's not high in sugar.

Slice a banana in a bowl and put about six dessertspoons of yogurt on it, it feels like a pudding, fills you up, and its healthy, dont take any notice of people who say you should not eat before going to bed, thats rubbish, you are more likely to sleep better if you are not starving hungry, and its not as if your digestion shuts down over night or anything, I wouldnt recommend a pizza before bed, but a light snack will do more good than harm!

You shoulnt eat late at night. The last piece of food that should be consumed should be three hours before you go to sleep. If you eat late it will digest very slowly its unhealthy, more weight!
