KEEP IN MIND...I just want to know what this could possibly mean.
What did Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy, in their book “The Laughing Jesus”, mean when they said “religion is the devil’s greatest achievement”?

Well look at the problems religion causes - sectarian hatred, racism, it's even used as an excuse for murder. Little kids grow up in scotland hating (for example) catholics because their moron parents tell them they should. We have violence during so called peaceful marches. It causes chaos, so if the devil exists then good job my son

I haven't read the book but i've heard of the term. It's supossed, for some critics, to be one of Satan's goals, since this kind of organization would divide people more deeply.

On other side, according to what's been called St Thomas Evangel, Jesus said He could be found anywhere, not only in specific places -like churches, temples or chapels-, so, this would be a critic to current religions, which have used his name to make amazing fortunes around the world and enter politics, instead of helping people to save their souls.

It is!
Go to almost any church, the preacher reads a verse (just one) and for an hour he's off and running at the mouth.
You get the following:
Jesus saves.
There is a God
Your sins will be forgiven
And it's good to give to the church.
You don't need to know or understand anything else.
Oh yea you're now a Christian! Say Amen

And Satan is laughing his A$$ off, get more in, let us take this to the airwaves. Let's do this to the whole world.
(And it is watch TBN 700 club and others)
Oh yea the preachers always talk to God, and God tell them things.
Satan LOVES church.

Because it keeps ppl from the Truth that Jesus is the Only Way to Heaven, not Religion. Religion is man-made. Religious ppl will only go to Heaven to be with the Lord if they actually have a relationship with Jesus.
Remember--Relationship, not religion.

Well, religion has become a set of rules and a lifestyle that MUST be followed to "be saved." Thus, people are more concerned with following the rules of the religion than the God that it teaches about. This means the devil has distracted our focus from God himself to a bunch of man-made teachings.

The Devil's greatest achievement is Religion because it causes people to worship him and go to eternal fire like him.

How many people have died because of religion? How many people have gone to war because of religion?

To kill in the name of God/Goddess is the greatest evil man can commit. A God/Goddess that loves us does not want us to kill each other.

Because the devil is behind many religions.
