I am a mother of four and never finished high school. I had my first child when I was seventeen; but since that time I got my G.E.D and am now a sophmore in college working on a double major in Early Childhood Development and Social Work, so it is never too late. My kids inspire me to be a better person. "Good Luck".

I just need 3 more classes to get a master's in education. I finished High School, a BS in Child Development, plus 60 units in teaching credentials.

By the way, I am a pro-life bible believing Christain. Abortion is ok in instances of abuse, rape, or mother's life in danger. That issue is a whole other topic, though.

Haha! I'm 100% sure that 99.9% of the pro-life mothers on this site did NOT finish highschool, and that the only book they've read is the bible(Or another "holy book", depending on which religion they belong to, but it's usually the christians and catholics.)

It's been proven. Extremely religious people are always uneducated.
Take the Middle East as an example; The women are uneducated, and extremely religious.

Take the midwest as another example... The people are poor, and uneducated, and they all just happen to be bible freaks.

I respond as much to your actual question as to the "Scarlet Rose" person who provided you such a sadly bigotted, as well as grammatically incorrect, tediously misspelled and very poorly educated answer.

To begin with, I did not finish high school (Scarlet, high school is TWO WORDS, dear, not one). I, in fact, did not start high school but only finished the eighth grade. I went on to become the Commercial Assistant and Press Agent serving His Excellency Ambassador Dong Soon Park, opening the first Korean Embassy in Tel Aviv in 30 years. In a position previous to that, I generated $50 million in transaction capital between two foreign governments.

My resume will walk me through the door of any top tier administrative position in the United States or western Europe. My rolodex and my Christmas card list is filled with the personal names and home addresses of people that neither Scarlet, nor her city's mayor, would be allowed to speak to if they called on the phone.

I am making two points here: One, I am highly successful and about the furthest thing from "stupid" or "uneducated," though to this day, I still do not have my high school diploma.

Two, I have three children, a husband, a dog, a home, and a car. I am very much pro life and an Evangelical Christian.

While I have read literally hundreds of books -- in two different languages (something I doubt Scarlet's venerated education affords her) -- I do still find the Bible to be the best of them by far.

Please do not allow the people of the world who are like Scarlet Rose to minimize your worth or your overall contribution. It is only people who secretly realize just how low class and unaccomplished they actually are who look down on or wish to ridicule others, much less entire groups of people based upon their own poorly-formulated political opinions.

A high school diploma is a useful tool. It is important to remember, though, that the purpose of a formal education is to elevate those people who are not naturally intelligent to the same page as those of us who are.

The larger majority of the world's inventors invented their inventions without the benefit of a high school diploma.

In college, authors, inventors, early scientists and all manner of intellectual trailblazers who never had a formal education are studied regularly.

So, while again a high school education is a good thing, it is not a measure of your intelligence, your personal worth, your broader social worth, or anything else. It is simply a piece of paper that theoretically says you know how to read and write, almost as good as the rest of us.

One last point I would make, both the east and west coasts of the United States are totally failed economies, with much more money spent than generated. It is the midwest economy that totally underwrites this nation. Understand that a bunch of Bible-thumping, nonpretensious, regular American people are what makes it possible for people like Scarlet Rose to sit as an arrogant ignoramus in front of her computer and look down on others. In any other society, she would find that her narrow world view would make HER the outcast, and not you.

My suggestion is that you find some good things to read online about topics that you are already interested in. Raise your children to the best of your ability, teaching them everything you learn and being the best mommy possible, and you will have contributed far more to this society than any left-wing confrontationalist.

If you have the opportunity to further your education, do so, but prioritize time with your children ahead of that. It is okay to not finish high school, but do not allow it to be an excuse to not be the best and most intelligent person you are able to be.

Best regards,

Rebecca
