I know this may be wierd for someone to ask this type of question...But right now husband and I are going through alot right now...He's been locked up for a year now only because a 43 man raped me in our own house and my husband stabbed him in the back in self-defense....He's a great man and I miss him so much....We need as many prayers as we can get....I know it may be blunt but we need hope....That he will be home again one day....

Dear God of Infinite Goodness, if it pleases You and is according to Your Will, soften the painful situation for David and Brandi Lovegrove.

Good spirits, in the name of God Almighty, I implore you to help David and Brandi Lovegrove through this suffering. If it isn't in David and Brandi Lovegrove's interest to be spared it, help them realize that this suffering is beneficial for their progress. Instill in David and Brandi Lovegrove confidence in You and the future, which will make them less bitter. Also give David and Brandi Lovegrove strength to resist surrendering to despair, which would mean wasting the fruits of this experience and undergoing future days of even greater distress. Lead my thoughts to David and Brandi Lovegrove so that they might help sustain their courage. --Amen.

Brandi and David,

Be assured that you will be in my prayers tonight and every time I think of it. I wish I could give you my Email address on here, but we are not allowed to. I am 73 years old, a baptized member of the Baptist Church, and my sympathies and prayers are with you. It is a sorry thing, when a man cannot proctect his family. God bless you both.

Hello friend,
May I first say David is very fortunate to have a woman such as yourself. But I'm sure he knows that.
Asking for prayer reveals vulnerability, strength, faith, and character. God honors such attributes in His children.
My prayer is that the Lord strengthen both you and your husband to be the unified ONE that you are. And that God, who knows your hearts desire would bow down low and meet you where you are to draw you closer together as you draw closer to Him.
God knows your situation and sees your pain. Sin has had it's way in tormenting you in all this, but take rest in knowing that God
is able to make all things work together for GOOD for those who
love Him and who are the called according to His purpose.

Have faith in God dear friend, I pray He give you comfort and strength in your time of need.
God Bless You,
2 Tim 2:7

Okay hon - you've got it. What a bummer that is - not fair at all. Be brave. The only thing I'm not sure of - if it was self defense, why did your husband stab the guy in the back?

Prayer is useless. Don't you think that 6 million jews (the chosen people) were praying to god during the holocaust? Do you think that the few thousand who died on 9/11 or in Katrina were praying? Trust me... they were. Depend on yourself not the magic man in the sky

I'm so sorry to hear what happened. Of course i will pray for you. I honestly i really don't think it's a weird for someone to ask this. Everyone needs prayers, just some people don't have the guts to ask.

I hope you are all right. Self defense isn't accurate, as the invader wasn't raping your husband. I don't pray, but I hope you get what you are looking for.
