Help with Logitech X-530 Speakers and sub?

I just bought these today. And so far awesome! But i cant get the surround sound to work. I got the two front speakers working but nothin with the central and rear speakers. i already changed the speaker settings to 5.1. But they still dont work. Help please!

Is your computer or receiver made to process signals into 5.1, if not nothing will help you. Can purchase 5.1 card to change your computer.

Unless the audio signal is 5.1, the sound will only come out of the front two speakers and sub woofer.
