I think the rule should limit every family to 4, or MAYBE 5. Who needs more of those huge, crazy, religious families trying to brainwash everyone with their stupid theories?
Also, I think more people should start adopting.
There are so many crazy people who want their own children and go through so much just to make one, like hiring a surrogate (that's crazy!), going to a sperm bank (that's crazy!), etc. If you can't make children, give up and adopt a few.
There are also so many families who already have over 5 children and continue to make more, and more. Stop making children! Can you reall support them emotionally, physically, and financially? And if you really DO want so many children, why don't you adopt a few?
It's usually the pro-life retards who have 10 children and tell people not to have an abortion because they can give it up for adoption. WELL, I don't see any pro-life people adopting children...What hypocrites!

Anyway, I think 4 or 5 should be the limit, and they should be forced to have abortions after they pass the limit.

I think, no I know (especially from readin some of these answers) that there are alot of ignorant, hateful, racist, people in the world...and with that said they all have a right to their opinion and to their lives...but I don't believe those who can't take care of the children they have b allowed to have more...if u have 1 child that is under nourished, unloved, and uneducated don't have more...same goes to if u already have 6 in the same condition.

Now if u have the time, money, and other resources to provide a good stable, lovin environment for a child..then have as many as u want...I myself have 3 and I want another and plan on adopting...but I'm also married, and have my own business...

No! The one child rule in China was a mistake and is causing damage to some parts of their society. People wanted male children so badly that they would abort, kill or give away their girl babies. Now in China there are waaaay more men than there are women, in some cases entire towns of men only because the female children were so undesirable. This is causing major problems because there aren't enough women to pair up with these men. In remote areas these small towns will end up dwindling down to nothing.

Now I'm not saying population control is a bad thing. Many people believe 2 children is the optimum number of offspring because you are doing your part to keep the population even (two children to replace two parents once they die).

Nope, I think it is up to the family to decide how many children they want. If someone can support 13 children financially and emotionally then who is anyone to judge them if that is how many children they choose to have. As for adopting, why should someone have to adopt if they don't want to. Don't get me wrong I think adoption is great, but not everyone who has more then 1 kid would adopt and they shouldn't have to.

i agree with you on the adoption part...but would you like to only have one child?? i love having my 2 girls, and wouldn't want to have to choose between either of them. i just think that once you've had 1 or 2 children, then you should have to adopt until every child in the world has a loving family.

there will never be a one child rule in the US. i think they should give extra tax breaks to white people for every extra child they have OVER one... white people are becoming a minority. we have 6 kids living at home now, one in college, AND we are going through fertility treatments to have more! BECAUSE WE CAN!
