Dehydration can cause dizziness, yes. If you are feeling this way you should make sure you drink some type of electrolyte replenishing drink(gatorade, powerade etc..) plus 6 - 8 glasses water minimum per day. If you are dehydrated, you don't pee much, and when you do, your urine becomes darker and more scant. You are probably also experiencing low blood pressure - which can occur with dehydration, but be caused by a myriad of reasons. A normal adult BP is 120/70. You don't say if you are sick in any other way, or are eating right. Malnutrition can also contribute to this type of feeling. Anemia, due to blood loss, poor diet, etc... will also leave you feeling very weak, tired and dizzy. A low pulse rate in addition to a low BP can also affect you this way. Is your pulse around 60 - 70 (average), does it race when you are up (a compensation for low blood pressure) or is it consistently below 60 and you're not an athlete per say that has a real efficient heart. For instance, if you're Lance Armstrong a pulse in the 40's is fine, but not the average Jo. Push the fluids, rest, but please call your doctor if you're really sick and are having these symptoms. I can't emphasize enough, in the heat of summer, you need electrolytes in addition to just plain water. Make sure you are staying cool and are not heat-stroking or heat exhausted. Make sure there's someone with you who you tell how bad you're feeling and that will stay with you if you feel that faint. There's just too many unknowns in your situation to help you out more than the basics: fluids, nutrition, body temp., and circulation.... Take care of yourself, winding up on the floor is no fun, as I am someone with a rare neuro-cardiac disorder that has been on the floor too many times, even being an RN.

It could be dehydration but only if you have been out in the sun alot and not drinking fluids or eating. More likely it has something to do with your menstrual cycle. I don't know how old you are but before and during my period I would get dizzy and sometimes even pass out. As I got older that didn't happen anymore. Also you might be anemic which is easily checked by a blood test. For now don't do anything strenuous or potentially dangerous and eat frequent small meals and drink fluids like juice and water. No sodas. If it continues see a doctor.

A matter of not enough information here, but I will try to help you. You don't state your age, you don't say if you are taking any medications....
The kind of symptoms you describe fit alot of different things...
First, low blood sugar, are you trying to diet? I am not saying eat sugar, but I am saying you may not be eating enough food often enough.
Second, dehydration, especially in the summer heat is a possibility, can be quickly remedied with a sport drink, I personally like Propel.
Thirdly, postural hypotension, a drop in blood pressure on standing suddenly, and there are a myriad of things can cause this, needs to be determined by a doctor. Good luck to you.

It might be a condition called Orthostatic Hypotension. It occurs when one hasn't been drinking the proper amount of fluids each day. I don't know enough about what is going on to determine what exactly might be ailing you. If you think you are dehydrated, then get yourself a 2 liter bottle of water and drink it. See if your symptoms go away. Have you been eating much today? Feel free to email me if you have any further questions.

It could be a number of things. Dehydration, lack of food, heat stroke. I suggest drinking a lot of water, and getting some food in your stomach. If it continues after that seek medical help.

This is what i was feeling today because I got TP ed twice last night and I had to go to work. Yeah so it sounds like your mosty just tired....or it could be that you haven't eaten in a while either one it means that your blood flow is slower so that's why.

I don't think so. It sounds like a loss of blood. Maybe you're coming up with an illness, but if this continues, tell someone or go see a doctor.

It could be many things.
A doctor would not even do a diagnosis over the Internet. See your physician as soon as possible.
