Before you being to judge others, ask your self this. Have you ever thought of killing yourself? What kind of pain must the person have been going through? Kurt Cobain, sad yeah, what the hell, drove him to do that?

One more thing, my High School teaher's commited suicide, and do you know what she told me? She hates him for it, but its not her place to judge him for it, and that she forgave him.

Whatever you may think of suicide, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I've been suicidal, (I'm not mentally ill, sinful, or selfish) and I just kept thinking about how much it would hurt everyone around me, so I couldn't do it. But I can understand the kind of pressure and pain that would make you think that you wanted to just be out of it all.
Sometimes the pain is so great, you just can't see the end to it. In my case, my husband and father died within two months of each other, and it was the worst time in my life. I just wanted to be with them, because it hurt too bad to be without them.
Just remember, suicidal people are in PAIN!!! They are hurting, and sometimes, maybe they want someone else to hurt as much as they do, but usually, they just want the pain to stop.
What they are NOT is drama seekers. No one threatens suicide simply to get attention. They do it because they are hurting, and they want someone to help them stop the pain. If a friend of yours threatens suicide, please help them or see that they get help. There is nothing wrong with telling an adult about someone threatening to kill themselves.

depends on the suicide... many who commit suicide do it so that others suffer. they feel they have been wronged or neglected and they want to take down someone with them... I think that is sin and selfish...
but if someone has a terminal illness that is a different story.. I think they should be able to decide their fate and end the pain and suffering... but they should make that decision not a doctor or a loved one... that is what living wills etc.. are for.

It depends on the case.
For some it's mental illness...
for some it's the only way to preserve dignity
for some it's curiosity :)))
for some it's stupidity
and for a friend of mine who commited suicide at 17 (jumped from the 17th floor) was a lot of alcohol in the blood

Suicide usually results from depression. It is a sin, and rightly so. No one gains anything from suicide. Those who commit suicide are telling the world, "I killed myself, what now?" It's a stupid thing to do cause you gain nothing at all, and you may very well challenge the emotional stability of those around you.

when you feel that low it seems like your only way out and it may seem selfish to others but when things get that bad you dont really think about anything except a way out least of all how its going to effect those around you and unless you have been in that situation before you cant really judge because you dont understand

Hi, My view is total selfishness. A person who is thinking of it really needs to examine their lives. Take into consideration who u will be leaving behind perhaps that would make the person get off their pity pot!!!

if you asked me i would say people who commit suicide are overdramatic drama queens who cant deal with their problems.
but sometimes the sadness can be overbearing to the point where they just want to end their pain.
