I am so tired of fighting this depression. Cymbalta has helped some, but when I get overwhelmed, like now I just can't manage. The smallest things set me back. I just don't know if I have the energy to keep fighting.

Maybe you need to be on better medication, or maybe you have just become immune to what you're currently on. Switching your medication periodically can keep you from getting used to it. Go see your doctor and they will be able to help, whether it's through talking or medicine. What I'm sure about though is that you probably won't find the best help here on Yahoo! Answers. It's good to get other's opinions but in the end you need to see a professional.

Just dont loose sight of what may happen in the future. Yes, the future is unknown but to find hope in all of what you are going through right now may be the best you can do.

Just dont forget that if you keep on fighting there may be happiness at the end.

Just hold on.

Therapy comes in many forms. Before you turned to pharmecuticals I hope you chose a more traditional form of therapy. Without knowing the root causes of your depression it is hard to provide any advice other than seeing a professional. Decision making is difficult, not because the deciding is hard - but rather, the living with its consequences are.

I hope you decide to live with the consequences of your actions.

If you need further assistance, I would be glad to help.

i suffer too.I took my doctors advice and started walking. and little by little i am feeling better. Some time's you need to just exhaust your self physically to feel better mentally. I found the best place for me is the ocean or a nice mountain hike get away from everthing and the noise of people. nature just might be a good remedie for you too. I really hope you feel better I know it is hard just keep holding on.

If you have a minister I recommend talking to him. Alot of drugs dont really help people. There are natural herbsites where you can find good stuff that isnt a drug or harmful. My brother was severely depressed for years and he took St Johns Wort and it really helped him alot. Please pray too and call a friend for support.
