If you are bringing a computer to have software installed to a technician, you should bring the software you want installed. It is also a good idea to bring your operating system disks with you, especially when using an unpopular or old operating system like win me or anything older than win98se. If the software is for a specific use like burning CD's or ISP software, then make sure you have the correct hardware like an external CD burners and external modems.
