Well, assuming time were going to end then I would have to say that among scientists the Big Crunch is the most popular theory for the end of time. Like I always say, there's no better way to destroy a universe than a time reversed Big Bang.

The rapture before the tribulation is the most publicized and seemingly the most accepted theory. However I do not believe it is the most biblically accurate theory.

Popular does not make it right. It was the popular thing when the Jews called for Jesus' crucifixion.

That it is here.
That something is going to happen. Something.
To many, from to many beliefs, agree on that.
They don't agree on how, or why, or what is going to happen, or when it'll happen.
But they do agree that we are living in the last days.

I want to mention, that is how it was just before Jesus was born.
Because of the prophecies, they knew the time for the Messiah was in their time. They knew he would be born in the time he actually was born. They knew he would be there. Somewhere, somehow, someway.
Yet, they rejected Jesus because he would not do anything about the current Roman problem.
And though Jesus fulfilled every prophecy for the Jews,
they still rejected him.

Well, this time, there is no rejecting.
And when he is seen, for most, it'll be to late to change over to the side of Christ.

I like the theory that the seven days of creation are analogous to all of creation. In that case, one day is as one thousand years. In the seventh day the Lord blessed his creation and made it holy. In the Jewish calendar we are in the year 5750 (or something close to that). So we still have about 250 years before we reach the 7th day, and the Lord will make His creation holy.

Unfortunately, the Pre-tribulation theory is the most popular.

I won't say more because you did not ask for more.
