My boyfriend is travelling for 3 months without me. He says he will be faithful but won't the male's physical need for sex make this difficult? I'm sure he will get offers because he's a fab guy.

I'm sure he is being completely sincere and means it but I'm aware that 'the flesh is weak', i just wonder how realistic this is for him.

Yes it is. I used to travel on business all the time. In 20 years of marriage, I have never cheated on my wife.

Men can go three months without sex. Many choose to all the time. Women have needs for sex too but if your guy gives in to physical desires and ignores and type of values you seriously need to rethink your relationship. I don't think he will have a hard time staying faithful. Do I think he will get horny, YES, he will get horny and he will probably masturbate. Big deal. yes men can stay faithful. Now ask yourself can you? Can you resist the urge to act on it when you feel horny? If you can he can. I cant believe you think the female "need for sex" is any less than a man's.

You should not even be thinking about this if you trust him and have a great relationship.

This is how you have to look at it if he does and then you get rid of him,he wouldn't have been a fab guy after all and there plenty more fish in the sea.

But I'm sure that won't be the case at all.

Of course it is, girl!
And to say that sex is a physical male need is as much as saying the same for beer. One gets addicted to that, but it's not per-se a need. If your guy loves you, if he is in control of his libido, and if he keeps away from occassions, he can be without sex for 3 months or for 3 decades and be perfectly fine.
If he is such a fab. guy, you should have nothing to worry about. Give the guy all your trust and support, and that'll keep him more restrained than if you track him down constantly and interrogate him periodically, trust me.

Its possible but pointless!

why do you feel like you have to police your Boyfriends Morals?

Either he is a cheater and will do so the moment he gets an offer, or he isn't and won't!

Stop worrying about it and give the guy some of the best sex going before and after he is away!

Well, it's not necessary to life for men to have sex. So, if he can't be faithful to you for 3 months then you don't need him anyway and he's not as fab as you think. If he told you that males need sex to survive he's an idiot and if you listened to him, you are one also.

Sure you can keep from sex for three months if you are willing to do that for the one you love.
Masturbation, is always available.
Just a suggestion, but would it be possible for you two to have phone sex, that might help out his libido and yours. Help him stay faithful to you.

Of course it will be difficult, but what situation isn't? If he says he will do it, then he will. As long as the both of you trust each other and keep constant communication, every thing will work out fine.
