I seem to hold all my weight in my upper body.. I have lost over 70 pounds so far and I am wanting to lose about another 30 I realize that the more I lose it will go down but I have started working out and would like to add something to my routine that will get rid of the tire I seem to have under my rms and on my upper back I feel horrible about myself

first, if youve lost 70 lbs, you probably have a lot of skin hanging as well - not a lot you can do about that except give it time.... if you do pushups it will tone up the area youre looking to "fix"....you start them by seeing how many you can do - then every day you start at that (say 10, for instance), and you do that number backwards (first do 10, then 9, then 8, etc) till you get to 1..every 2 weeks, add 1 to the number you do - you may have to go to your knees to keep doing them, thats ok. good luck

and pay no attention to the yahoo insulting you --- just another shmuck on the web

Congratulations on so much weight loss!!!! You don't mention your age, but if you are still reasonably young, like under fifty, exercise can help all that hanging skin, but it won't get rid of it completely......see a plastic surgeon, many will take payments, and honey you are worth it. You've lost so much weight and that shows that you have a good self image in there somewhere, encourage that self image by doing all you can to look the way you want to look. In the meantime, rowing is great for those upper arm wings, so are butterflies done on a machine in a spa, one exercise that I do is to hold a large heavy can in each hand and bending forward at the hips I raise my arms out from my sides slowly and just as slowly lower them, I started at five reps, then gradually increased to 30. My upper arms are much firmer now.....but I too have some 40 pounds to lose, when I do, I am going to visit the plastic surgeon to take care of all the loose skin I have now that I have lost a total thus far of 180 pounds.
