The aquarium is good. If you have not got transport catch the train from Balitmore to Union Station in Washington DC. The new shopping centre at the station is pretty smart and the eatries downstairs cater for every taste.

The metro system across DC is really good and very clean, and safe till late at night. There are many museums and great sights to see.

I would recommend

Air Space Museum
Arlington Cemetry
Lincoln Memorial
A Duck Tour which goes round the monuments and then on the Potomac. (Pick this up at Union Station)
Post Office Tower, (The view is better than the one from the Washington Memorial)
Holocaust Museum (Get there for at least 7.30 in the morning)

I love Washington DC there is so much to do there regardless of age.

Baltimore has several nice crab shacks and sea food eatries. Ask at your hotel for recommendations.

Finally if you have a day free, Baltimore is on a direct train route to Penn Station New York (Just off 5th avenue), train takes less than 3 hours to get there, and the views of the bay as the train travels over the bridges are fantastic. If you sit on the right hand side of the train going you also have fantastic view of the manhattan skyline as you leave newark train station in New jersey.

Have fun
