All dogs can and will bite if given a reason, scared, teased, abused, defending their property or owners or unfortunatly if taught to bite (pit bulls) which can be very gently sweet dogs if raised by decent people.

Hmm..place both fingers in its mouth, one in each side and see if it bites..if not..by all means keep it..it makes an excellent pet, not to mention it can cook too!!!
