Am I pathetic if I do nothing all summer but work and get home , check my e-mail and write and ask questions?

All I do my typical day is go to work. Come home, eat something. Check my e-mail to see if my boyfriend e-mailed from Ecuador since he comes back in 11 days. I really miss him. Then I also check for my family e-mail from Cuba and then I come online to ask questions about my troubling insecurities and about my boyfriend? Is that pathetic?

Also I have no car, I am only 16 and can't manage myself.

If it is pathetic what is something a 16 year old who needs permission and has no car can do after work to keep her entertained till her boyfriend gets back and schools starts again? Please I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

If you are pathetic, so are many of us. Lucky for me, I'm way older and don't have your problems. But don't worry, your position isn't for good, it will soon change when your boyfriend returns to you.
Do you know any older friends you can go out with, to the movies or maybe just a coffee, but get out of the house for a while.Check around, at your work, see if there isn't someone there, who would love some company.
See if you can find someone online, just to chat with. maybe someone in a similar situation.
Don't fret about, see if you can't work something out.

Girl - your to young for that get out enjoy life while you can. Hit the parks, beaches, or join a club don't waste life it's short enough as it is.
