In middle school it's pretty sad cuz you never actually "go" anywhere with the person you just identify him as your boyfriend!

If someone asks me out, im thinking oh okay i guess we're together, because normally if someone asks you out it's not like they are going to go and ask another girl out to be his girlfriend, so I guess "going out" besically means you are takenn!

Someone "asked me out" he said I really like you. I said.. ok I considered us friends. Then he took me to a movie and since we actually "went somewhere" we went out.

That was confusing

going out is dating someone exclusively..you know, kissing, etc. with just that person, and acknowledging each other as either boyfriend or girlfriend

"You need to go out more" = I need to go to more places where people hang out.
"Will you go out with me?" = I am playing a joke on you and hope you take the bate...afterwards, I'll dump ya.
"I was wondering if you can go out with us." = group date with my boyfriend...hehehe
