I have a whole list, too :)

Female:
Sule (Turkish. new one, thanks to a similar question I asked a few days ago: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsBoTLJ_OU87nrKllMucNHLsy6IX?qid=20060727183342AAF7YEf )
Raiza, or Raiça (Portuguese, though I first heard it on someone from a Spanish speaking Latin American country)
Milagros (Spanish)
Katja (German)
Caterina (Italian, but a few other languages, too)
Rocío (Spanish)
Pilar (Spanish)
Ceren (Turkish)
Amélie (French, and yes, I like it because of the movie of the same name)
Genvieve (French, I think there are some accent marks on there somewhere. It's the French version of Genevive.)

Male:
Joaquín (Spanish)
Rober (short for Roberto, Spanish)
Cesc (Catalan, I believe, short for Francesc)
Remy (I always thought it was French, but the person I knew with this name was Polish)

I'm still looking for that book in which I have my list written down (this is all I can remember off the top of my head), check back later...

Radha , Osman.
I checked about them for the first time now. LOL.

Radha is a famous female personality from Hindu, (Vedic) tradition. Radha is almost always depicted alongside her paramour Krishna, and has a highly prominent feature within the philosophy of today's Gaudiya Vaishnava religions.

OSMAN - Turkish form of UTHMAN. This was the name of the founder of the Ottoman Empire (14th century).
UTHMAN - Means "baby bustard" in Arabic. A bustard is a bird similar to a crane. Uthman was the name of the third caliph of the Muslims, Muhammad's son-in-law.

I like the 'aur' bits in names, they give a certain Celtic mystique to Laura, Lauren, but then I like Maura much better. Marina, Courteney and Briseis are also great names.

Guys' names, like guys' clothes as opposed to women's clothing, are usually less daring or creative. I've liked Theseus and Lysander, characters in Greek mythology and Shakespeare's plays. I don't want my kid bullied at school though - it might be Xander.
