In the UK, teenagers say 'that's so gay', if they don't like something. Gay is gay, and 'not good' means 'not good'. It's that simple.

If i ought to offer up overusing one note in my vocabulary, the note should be "like" because if someone advised me to describe a sport of "cover and go search for", i ought to probable say "like" about 8 or 9 cases.

I would like people to stop over using their pride. That is at the center of almost every evil in the world.

"things"
Several people I know use this word over & over in their conversations and it's quite annoying.
For example they say:
* I have some shopping and things to do.
* I left my bag and things in the trunk.
* Do you have any books and things about that?
* When I mop the floor and things, it really shines.
Perhaps it's just a midwestern "thing" to say, but it gets me every time!
Oh, and another pet peeve of mine is when ones use the verb "seen" incorrectly.
* I seen that movie. (should be SAW or HAVE SEEN) So irritating!

I have a phrase that I wish people would stop using--"you see what I'm saying"--but you can "see" words, so I hate that.
