Right away. Seriously it really doesn't matter WHEN what matters is you stop overanalyzing and start doing it. Also do it around the same time each day. So whatever works best into your schedule. Dont worry so much about metabolism once you get started on a schedule your bodies metabolism will adjust anyway.

The best time to exercise is whatever time of day that you are most likely to actually get up and do it. Other than that, there's really not going to be much of a difference between exercising in the morning, afternoon, or night.

This is an individual preference. I like to teach in the mornings, while I have other instructor friends who like to teach at nights. I like to exercise in the mornings as it speeds up the metab for the rest of the day, and I have all day to burn calories!
My night time friends however, don't like mornings, and would rather exercise at night. They don't go to bed early either, so they're up for awhile burning their calories too!
If you're a morning person do it in the morning, if you're a night person exercise at night, any time you do it , it will be good!

The morning is the best time for me, but some people like the evening because it gives them more energy for the night.

Exercise in the morning, light breakfast afterwards, normal mid-day meal, light snack in the evening, eat nothing after 8 o'clock. guaranteed to lose weight. If you eat at night...you lie down and sleep and it all turns to fat.

If you want to lose weight, make certain that you always exercise after eating. Do not sit down or lay down after eating. Eat and get moving.!!

Late afternoon, the reason for that is your muscle strength is at its peak, its highest. You're going to be less likely to injure yourself. It's also a time when people are most awake and alert
