She's YOUR daughter. Why would you talk to her grandmother about getting away with stuff like that? You're the one who should discipline her. Why don't you talk to the grandmother, and let her know that you think violence is unacceptable. That way, both of you can present a united front to your daughter. When your daughter acts out in your presence, let her know it is WRONG. And if she goes to her grandmother to complain, make sure her grandmother lets her know that her behavior is wrong. And if your kid is violent with her grandmother when you're gone, make sure that she always tells your daughter that vilence is wrong. Or whatever punishment you think is right.

Simple. Use the reward system.
When she does good, tell her "Very Good" and give her a small reward.
When she does poorly, tellher "You behavor is not acceptable" and TAKE AWAY something she loves or wants to keep.
When she cries, don't weaken, but do explain to her, that you LOVE her, but EXPECT her to follow YOUR rules, because no matter what Grandma says, that YOU are the boss of her because she's your child.
Your demeanor should never be anger...you must be totally in control of your emotions and the situation.
Let her cry, she'll stop eventually.
You don't have to go into any deeper than that.
Make it clear, make it CONSISTENT, then
with the consistancy, time and time again,
she'll change...she really wants her favorite things!!!
Trust me, this works.

pinch for pinch, bite for bite, light hit for hit, light kick for kick. This kid needs to be taken over your knee and spanked!! Get a flat book and give her licks on her bear behind. . . NEVER when you are angry and explain why she is getting her licks. Do it EVERY time and she will quit in a hurry. Do NOT let her get away with this behavior or you will pay for it when she goes to school, believe me.

my mother use to say if they bite, bite them back, pinch, pinch back , pull hair pull it back this only shows them what it feels like. I never like to justify hitting with hitting, but had a good outcome from the biting bit. My best friends daughter bit mine and I bit her back--not as hard but she never did it again. For some reason you child does not like grandma around you
