A Cuba Libre is a fancy name for a rum and coke.

Pour the juice of 1/2 lime into a highball glass over ice cubes. Add a shot of rum and fill with cola.

It's easy - and good.

It's basically a Rum & Coke with lime juice added:

2 oz. light rum
juice of a half a lime
finish with Coca Cola

a cuba libre is nothing more than a rum and coke with lime..its one of those drinks that eventually lose their name...like cranberry and vodka is a capecodder...grapefruit and vodka is a greyhound..etc
